[If you have some Ian H. scenes already, you don’t have to overwrite those images.] - copy RB4.max to your 3DS Max install dir /scenes/lfs. [You don’t have to do this, but again, if you have some Ian H. scenes, it’s better if they are in the same place.] - Start Max and load the scene. If prompted with a message: Externel Files Missing select 'Browse' and browse to the textures directory: your 3DS Max install dir\images\lfs - Press F10 to bring up the Rendering window & hit the Render button =) How do I add my skin to the car? -------------------------------- - Press M to bring up the Material Editor. - The first material from the material list is the skin material. Click on the button marked: body [ADD SKIN] ( Brazil Basic Mtl ) - Basic Parameters -> Diffuse -> click on the small blank square button. - Select 'Bitmap' from the list and browse to your skin file. How do I change number plates? ---------------------------------- - Press M to bring up the Material Editor. - 2. and 3. material from the material list are the numberplate materials. click on the button marked: Front_numberplate ( Brazil Basic Mtl ) Back_numberplate ( Brazil Basic Mtl ) - Basic Parameters -> Diffuse -> click on the small square with "M" on it -> Bitmap parameters -> bitmap: [gray box] - Hit that gray box and you can browse to your numberplate. We are using 262x86 pixel images. Any other size may not fit perfectly.
